The Agents is a clever card game developed by Saar Shai. A brief description of the 'double edged' nature of the cards is provided from the original Kickstarter campaign...
"Each Agent card features a ‘command’ on one end of the card and ‘points’ on the other end... The direction in which you place the card will determine from which asset you benefit. If you choose to perform the command, one of your opponents will get the points. If you keep the points for yourself, an opponent gets to perform the command."

NOTE
This is a used 'Mark I' version of the game, opened but otherwise in excellent condition. (See my other ad if you are interested in the brand new, sealed, Mark II version.)
The game comes with the following 5 expansions:
- Special Agents
- Secret Agents
- Mission Critical
- Partners
- Black Ops
The expansion boxes of the Mark I version are notoriously flimsy. And the plastic cards, while excellent quality, come with a small edge burr (<0.5mm) from the machine punch. Other differences between Mark I and Mark II versions are outlined below, reprinted from the Kickstarter FAQ page below:

** What is the difference between the original base set and this Mark II version?**
There are only minor tweaks made to the Mark II version. I’ll be correcting the 2 typos of course and likely removing a couple of the more ‘challenging’ Agents. I’ll also be adding some info to the box that will make it ‘retail-worthy’ i.e bar code etc. Though the box shape and design is likely to stay identical, I may use a different box material so that it is more suitable for shipping and retail.

**What is your manufacturing plan this time around?**
I’m using the same printers as with my first production run. I’ve cultivated a great relationship with them over the past year and we’re going to work even more closely together to make this new production run super tight, problem free, efficient and high quality. I’m going to stick with the same plastic material for the cards, but improve the way that the colors for the cards are set, so that there is improved color consistency across the game. I’m also changing the way the cards are cut so that they are clean and perfect around all edges and corners.
I’m also re-designing the boxes for the expansions so that they are more robust and sturdy both to endure the shipping and lots of game playing!
** What is the difference between the original expansions and the Mark II ‘beefed up’ versions?**
The biggest difference is that I have merged ‘Mission Critical’ and ‘Black Ops’ into one larger Missions expansion. For the other three (Specials, Secrets and Partners) I may duplicate a few Agents and add a couple of new ones. They will also be packaged in a sturdier tuck box.
